Blizzard Warning issued in Texas as winter weather hits parts of state
After record-breaking heat during Christmas across much of Texas, conditions have turned much colder during the final days of 2025. A cold front has swept across Texas, bringing temperatures as low as 20 degrees below the average. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for West Texas and a Blizzard Warning for the Guadalupe Mountains. The high winds are expected to cause low visibility and potentially dangerous travel. Despite these disruptions, conditions are expectedably improving by Tuesday.
