More than 2,000 additional illegal immigrants are heading towards the Texas border in El Paso as part of the "Way of the Cross" caravan. They departed from the Mexican city of Tapachula on Monday, chanting "A la frontera!" which means "to the border!"
The caravan is led by Mexican activists who are coordinating with churches in Mexico to help the mostly South American immigrants reach the United States. It's unknown if the caravan will all attempt to cross into Texas at once or splinter into smaller groups that will cross at different border towns.
