EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Commissioners Court was scheduled to talk briefly on Monday, Oct. 26 about the controversial Meta data center project that is being built in Northea… The El Paso County Commissioners Court will discuss a "community benefits" agreement with Wurldwide LLC, also known as Meta, during closed session on Oct. 26. The meeting was delayed due to a fire at the County Courthouse forcing the previous meeting to cancel, leading to a backlog of County business. The Commissioners Court was not scheduled to take action on the contract, only to discuss the contract in the closed portion of the meeting.
