The three minute experience aims to provide users hope, affirm dignity, and find local mental health help and support. The contest, which began on May 1, saw a response of over 1,000 comments on Hope Booth's Instagram account. Founder Gloria Umanah expressed excitement and confidence that the installation of a Hope Booth in El Paso will be beneficial in serving as a beacon of resilience and make hope and help readily accessible to the community.

“Hope Booth” is a national nonprofit that installs redesigned telephone booths to house evidence-based interactive experiences that offer users a space of solace and inspiration, according to the news release by Hope Booth.
According to Hope Booth, the three minute experience aims to provide users hope, affirm dignity and serve as a point to find local mental health help and support.
The contest opened on May 1 and El Pasoans won the social media contest with a response of over 1,000 comments on the Hope Booth’s Instagram account.
“We are incredibly excited to bring a Hope Booth to El Paso,” said founder of Hope Booth Gloria Umanah. “The enthusiasm and community spirit displayed by the residents of El Paso are truly inspiring. This overwhelming response is a testament to the city’s commitment to fostering hope.”
“Winning this contest means so much to our community,” said El Paso’s Ariadna Garcia, Hope Booth advocate. “I’m highly confident that installing a Hope Booth in El Paso will be highly beneficial in serving as a beacon of resilience and will be the first of many to make hope and help readily accessible to our community. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to participate and share their love for our city.”
