The Albuquerque metro remained mostly clear, but showers and storms continued over the mountains. Forecasters warned that additional heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding. Some of the heavier rain is expected to move into eastern and southeastern New Mexico by Saturday evening, potentially continuing into 2 or 3 a.m. before moving out Sunday. The greater risk for heavy rain will be from the eastern half to eastern third of the state.
