The event is being hosted by the healthcare company WellPoint and Mike Dee's Big Adventure, a non-profit dedicated to providing recreational opportunities for people with special needs. The Sensory Friendly hour will reduce noise levels, reduce lighting, and limit crowds. Tickets are available for the event at the Convention Center.

The 4th Annual Sensory Friendly Hour will start at 9 a.m. on the last day of the comic convention which will be Sunday, April 14.
According to the Sensory Friendly Hour organizers, during the hour noise levels will be reduced, lighting will be dimmed and crowds will be limited.
The Sensory Friendly Hour is organized by the healthcare company WellPoint, in conjunction with Mike Dee's Big Adventure, which is a non-profit dedicated to providing recreational opportunities for people with special needs.
"We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy and excitement of events like Comic Con," said Mike Dee, Founding Representative of Mike Dee's Big Adventure. "By partnering with El Paso Comic Con and WellPoint, we can ensure that individuals with sensory sensitivities have an inclusive and accessible experience."
The El Paso Comic Con will be held in the Convention Center downtown.
The annual celebration of comic books, cosplay, and all things movies, TV and anime will be from April 12 to 14.
