Texas Woman Branded as the Planet Fitness Thief Busted
This gym bandit has been busted! A woman in El Paso, Texas, known as Ruth Angelica Barraza, has been charged with stealing credit cards from lockers at Planet Fitness locations across the country. The theft was discovered after a gym-goer returned to her locker to find the contents inside her purse, including credit cards, were stolen. The stolen credit cards were used for a shopping spree at Ross. Barrazas was public shamed online for her habit, many calling it "broke activities" and others for her use of the stolen cards. Authorities believe she is connected to ten thefts at five different Planet Fitness facilities.

A woman in El Paso, Texas was caught and charged with stealing credit cards out of the lockers at several Planet Fitness locations across town!
The woman, Ruth Angelica Barraza, was dubbed the "Planet Fitness Thief" and authorities believe she is connected to ten different thefts across five different Planet Fitness locations!
Barraza was caught after a gym-goer at the Planet Fitness in Horizon City, Texas returned to her locker to find the contents inside her purse, including credit cards, were stolen and alerted the authorities.
And just what exactly did these stolen credit cards get used on? A shopping spree at Ross. The terrible crime was followed by public shaming, and rightfully so, from users online! Many called it "broke activities"- and many shamed her for the fact that she used the stolen credit cards on Ross! One user wrote:
