El Paso police identified the man who died after a motorcycle crash last Friday night. El Paso police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash on I-10 west, identified as 43-year-old Ramon Espinoza Torres. The high-speed motorcycle crash occurred at the Copia exit at 11:58 p.m. Torres was driving a 2012 Yamaha YZFR6 at a high rate of speed, swerving in and out of traffic, before losing control of the motorcycle and it slid across the highway. Both Torres and the motorcycle struck a guardrail and the bike slid back into traffic lanes. This is the 29th deadly traffic crash this year compared to 30 the previous year.

El Paso police identified the man who died after a motorcycle crash last Friday night.
The crash happened on I-10 west at the Copia exit around 11:58 p.m.
The man who died was identified as 43-year-old Ramon Espinoza Torres.
Officials said Torres was driving a 2012 Yamaha YZFR6 at a high rate of speed, swerving in and out of traffic.
As traffic slowed, Torres tried to avoid rear-ending a a semitruck, officials said.
However, Torres lost control of his motorcycle and slid across the highway, officials said.
Both Torres and the motorcycle struck a guardrail.
After hitting the guardrail, the bike slid back into traffic lanes.
A 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was driving on I-10 west and could not avoid the motorcycle as it slid back into her lane.
This is the 29th deadly traffic crash this year compared to 30 this same time last year.
