The event raised about $7.3 mil… El Paso Giving Day, an initiative of the Paso del Norte Community.Foundation (PdNCF), celebrated its 11th year with a record-breaking $7.3 million raised for local nonprofits across the region. The event was supported by thousands of donors and community partners, including The Melinda and Meyer Marcus Family Foundation, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, and the Shiloff Family Foundation. The Melind and MeyerMarcus Family Foundation provided $537,000 in matching funds, while Meta provided an additional $2.5 million in matchingfunds to amplify the impact of community giving. The 13,167 donations were made to participating organizations and supported causes such as education, health and mental well-being, hunger relief, homelessness and housing, arts and culture, women’s rights and advocacy, animal welfare, environmental conservation, children and youth, senior services, veterans, and more.
